Baaba Maal played a show to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Island Records. Also scheduled to perform that night was Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens.) The crowd were therefore very surprised when U2 came out to join Baaba Maal for a couple of tracks.

Baaba gave a cool, casual backstage interview after the show. The interview was posted on the BAABA MAAL'S FACEBOOK PAGE.
